Dore Community Transport Limited is registered in England as a company limited by guarantee. Our registration number is 4355269. Our registered office is Ewyas Harold Memorial Hall, Ewyas Harold, Herefordshire HR2 0EL.

The company is registered as a UK charity, number 1097172. We may be found in the Charity Commission's web site.

We operate in accordance with the regulations & requirements of:
– Section 19 of the Transport Act 1985;
– the various Companies Acts & regulations;
– Data Protection laws & regulations;
– The Community Transport Association;
and any other laws or regulations that may apply.

Consequent to the above and to our wish to operate in the best way we can, we have adopted Policies & Procedures covering issues such as Data Protection, Equal Opportunities, Complaints, and the Safeguarding of Children, Young People & Vulnerable Adults. Privacy

  • When using personal information, as in all other matters, we will always endeavour to apply ‘best practice’ as far as we know it and to act in accordance with current legislation & regulation.
  • We respect the confidentiality of others. We will use any personal information that we obtain only for the purposes of supporting our clients. We intend & expect never to obtain anyone’s personal data unless that person has voluntarily provided that data to us.
  • Whilst we have obligations to maintain & retain records for our corporate purposes, we accept that people have a right to ensure that the personal data we hold on them is correct & valid and necessary for our purposes.
  • We will not disclose any personal information about a client to anyone other than:
    – as is necessary to provide our services to that client in accordance with our normal procedures;
    – as is necessary for the purposes of preparing accounts or tax returns or for the development of the systems required for such preparations; or
    – as required by law or in support of a request by an official investigatory or regulatory body if it would be ‘good practice’ to comply with that request.
